Did I get your attention?
At the Equal Exchange Cafe, Boston MA |
In the photo you see Carrie Anderson the artist recruiter, artist Derrick Trotman, Yours Truly, Sarah Durfey, and Americorp volunteer. Tonight opens Free2Create exhibit at the Equal Exchange Cafe, 226 Causeway St. The exhibit features art that protests modern day slavery and human trafficking. Sarah Durfey's family and I got connected through a church trip to help rebuild Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina. She's a warrior for restoring women to their true feminine identities. She is co-leader of Not For Sale, Massachusetts formed to bring down one of the highest crime spots in the nation for human and sex trafficking. Did you know that the average age for a woman to enter the sex industry in the USA is 13 years old? Take a minute and meditate on that.
There will be more exhibits coming, so if you are interested in participating, please get in touch with the organizer, Carrie Anderson. If you are a patron of the sex industry there is help available. Join those who have been set free. Sexual addiction is an epidemic. God expected we would not commit adultery. He didn't make a mistake when He created men. It's not true that "Men are like that...".
