The Rosy Barb from Northern India is a hardy aquarium fish. Being hardy as a follower of Christ isn't a gift one is born with. It happens as a result of His fathering and our own seeking. It's so unbiblical when people say, "I don't have the gift of____faith, love, compassion"..you don't have because you don't ask. Read the Bible and see first if you understand Jesus' commands and parables; and secondly, can you live out Jesus' commands. A Bible with Jesus' words in red is helpful in such a study. All you have to do is ask the Lord for what it is you lack and it is His pleasure to grant your request.
